Hello,

I am happy to be working at Saint Rita school.  I come from two Catholic schools that closed during my career of 20+ years.  First I was a middle school teacher at Saint Joseph school in Meriden, Ct where I taught Language Arts, History and Geography and 5th grade the last two years before the school closed.  I moved down the street to Our Lady of Mount Carmel where I remained for the last three years teaching 5th grade before they closed. 

I hold a masters degree in education from Southern Connecticut State University.  I love to travel, garden (I led a garden club at my previous schools) and write.  I was one of the co-authors during accreditation for NEASC at Saint Joseph School.  In my personal journey I have written a memoir called The Fig Tree which I hope to self publish.  I also wrote a children's book called The Adventures of Silas and Zeus.  

I am happy to bring my experiences into the classroom.  I love children and have always felt it was my job to teach and inspire others.
